High Holy Days

Temple Solel’s High Holy Day services are led each year by Russ Cobe and will all take place at the same location. Russ is an experienced lay leader, with a degree in religious studies and music from Wesleyan University. Many of our congregants will also be called to the bimah to help lead various portions of the services, reflecting the inclusive spiritual experiences embraced at Temple Solel.

This year, we will use our NEW Machzor, Mishkan HaNefesh for the High Holy Days. Services are fully transliterated, and include Hebrew and English translations so all participants may follow along. We are donating our old machzorim, Wings of Awe, to UNCC’s Hillel.

Our $250 membership per adult includes High Holy Day services and many other benefits throughout the year. We also invite all active college students and active military to attend our High Holy Day services for free.

Our members will have designated High Holy Day name tags waiting for them at services.

We welcome non-members and guests to share these sacred moments with us together as a congregation. The cost is $100 per adult (which can be applied toward Temple membership when joining before December 31). When tickets are purchased in advance, name tags will be available at services.
