Temple Solel’s High Holiday services will be lay lead by Russ Cobe. Russ is an experienced lay leader, with a degree in religious studies and music from Wesleyan University. Many of our congregants will also be called to the bimah to help lead various portions of the services, reflecting the inclusive spiritual experiences we embrace at Temple Solel. We use the Wings of Awe siddur for the high holidays, which are fully transliterated, and include Hebrew and English translations so that all participants may follow along.
Because we are lay-led, this allows our temple the mitzvah of being able to offer High Holidays services at a cost of $72.00 for non-members. For all members, your membership includes your attendance for our High Holiday services. We also invite all active college students and military to attend our High Holiday services for free.
Yizkor is open to everyone:
Temple Solel offers a Yizkor book, which is a way to have a cherished loved one remembered. A donation of Chai ($18) is suggested.
Please email us at Temple Solel: firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in joining us this year.
